HOW LONG WILL MY CANDLES LAST?

Please see each individual page, as candle burning times vary depending on size. However this also depends on lots of variables, like where you place your candle, how you use and burn your candle, the temperature of the room etc. Always place your candle in a draft free environment and away from windows. Burn your candle for no longer than 3 - 4 hours, as this can cause the candle to soot.

DO I NEED TO TRIM MY WICK?

We do recommend that you trim your candle wick before every burn, just to make sure you get the best results from your candle.

COULD I BE ALLERGIC TO ANYTHING IN THE CANDLES?

Yes, you could, this is why we add the Classification, Labelling and Packaging or "CPL" label to each fragrance. You will find all CPL information for each candle as the last picture on each listing, this gives you more detail into what is in the fragrance & essential oils we use.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS SUITABLE FOR VEGANS?

All of our soy candles are made with 100% soy wax flakes and either or high grade fragrance oils. The ingredients we use are also cruelty free. However, due to using a sticker on the jar this means we cannot class the product as Vegan. If you would like a candle without the sticker, please contact us as we are happy to ship without, making the candle 100% Vegan.

WHERE ARE YOUR CANDLES MADE?

We make every single candle by hand in London. The whole process is done in-house by founder Sandra.

CAN I GET SAMPLES BEFORE ORDERING?

Sadly we don't offer free sample before placing an order but our wax melt packs are a great way to test our fragrances before buying a bigger candle.

ARE YOUR CANDLES MADE WITH ESSENTIAL OR  FRAGRANCE OILS?

We use mainly use fragrance oils in our wax melts and candles, but we are looking in to exploring essential oils with a whole range coming soon. We include a list of the ingredients on each product page to help you make the best choice.

HOW WILL MY ORDER BE PRESENTED?

We are proud to use completely plastic free packaging. Your items will be wrapped in eco paper peanuts void fillers and will be placed in a recyclable box. All of our packaging can be recycled, re-used or composted.

HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY TO THE UK?

Recorded UK delivery is £4.95. Your order will be dispatched within 2-3 working days . Any orders under 2kg will be posted via Royal Mail and any orders over 2kgs will be posted via DPD. A tracking number will be provided for both services.

DO YOU DELIVER INTERNATIONALLY?

We currently only deliver to Europe, but please do get in touch as we can often accommodate large orders overseas.

WHO WILL DELIVER MY PARCEL?

We use Royal Mail for the most of parcel deliveries. We sometimes use DPD Local for larger orders.

WHAT SHALL I DO IF I'M HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY DELIVERY?

If your delivery isn't going to plan then please contact us right away. We are here to help sort out the issue and will do everything we can to get your parcel to you. email us at hello@terrecandle.co.uk

Once we have received your order, we will always endeavor to process and dispatch to you as soon as we can. However, we are not an "off the shelf", Amazon Prime type company. We cannot offer express dispatch, as we are a small manufacturer, and our products are all handmade, so dispatching your order takes a little longer.

For this reason we advise that the period between us receiving your order, and your order being dispatched, may be up to 5 working days.

Please note that we reserve the right to extend the order processing period, but only if unavoidable due to our limited manufacturing capacity. If your order is effected in this way, you will receive a notification email. At all times, we really appreciate your patience, and your decision to purchase from us.
